The Jaredian Design Group is a St. Thomas-based architectural/engineering firm formed in 1992 by John P. Woods, AIA, NCARB and LeRoy V. Smith, PE. Jaredian offers comprehensive professional services in the broad areas of architectural design, planning, programming, engineering and project management. Jaredian has performed services for a wide range of public and private clients, including the Abamar Development Company, Virgin Islands Department of Health, Roy L. Schneider Hospital, Property & Procurement and Planning & Natural Resources, as well as the Housing Finance Authority, Housing Authority, Port Authority, Public Finance Authority and the Government Employees’ Retirement System.
Through creative team work, the establishment of a pool of talent, and the utilization of state-of-the-art computer technology, the Jaredian Design Group strives to obtain new approaches and solutions to current problems. The experience of the firm’s principals and its associated professionals is applied to each project using proven project management skills that result in creative, cost effective and efficient solutions to today’s complex engineering problems. Each project is tailored specifically to accomplish a client’s goals and objectives on time and within budget limitations.
The Jaredian Design Group has long been regarded as one of the most respected firms in architecture in the Virgin Islands, evidenced by us being recognized and awarded by the St. Thomas Historic Trust for our work on the restoration of both the St. Thomas Reformed Church and the Executive Offices of the Lieutenant Governor.
