Quarters “B” Restoration — The Virgin Islands Public Finance Authority

image

T he Jaredian Design Group provided design and construction administration services in connection with the restoration of the historic Quarters “B” property on Government Hill, St. Thomas. Once the German Embassy, the Virgin Islands Government used this property as offices for the Office of Management & Budget prior to its destruction by fire in 1988. The reconstructed property is now the headquarters for the V. I. Public Finance Authority. The design incorporates many of the noteworthy historical features of the original building particularly the distinctive Ionic columns and the grand, interior mahogany stair. The total size of the completed building is 7,500 square feet. It was completed in 2008.

The Jaredian Design Group was recognized for design excellence on this project by the St. Thomas/St. John.
